Caution! Funny Cat Pics Ahead!

Do I like cats? Yeah, I'm kind of freakish that way. When asked how many cats I have I answer, "only six." I don't go to pet stores, because for me, there's no such thing as "window shopping." If I walk into a pet store and there's a cute kitten there, that kitten goes home with me. Therefore, I avoid pet stores at all costs.

On that note, I've been wanting to do a blog post featuring some of my favorite funny cat pics for a while. So, here goes...

The first two pictures are of my baby, Emma. She loves the shower, loves when sprinkles rain down from the heavens. Of course, she hides under the stool so she doesn't get the full brunt of the storm.

Besides Emma, here are some more I hope you'll enjoy. I've saved my favorites for the end. Of course, they pertain to writing.

Laugh! It's good for the soul.;-)

Just found your blog through Gumbo Writer. Love it!

Being that I'm addicted to cats, got two black old furry ladies living with me (that's cats!), I adore your pics!

Look forward to getting to know you more.

Donna, Thanks for finding me. Angie's great - love that southern cooking, hospitality, and humor. Cats are THE BEST!!!! Thanks for explaining about the old ladies. Can't wait to get to know you better.;-)

(chuckling) Perfect. I love that you have just as many cats as I do, more actually. I have 4 inside, and not counting the cats I rescue outside.

I can pretty much think of a situation I'm in at the moment that first line works. Kind of in a, "Don't change my storyline now!" mood. (Hugs)Indigo

Indigo, Good for you for rescuing kitties. They're God's bestest creation.;-)

I guess cats are alright.

Mollie, They need their back paws clipped. Do you have an opening this week?

Thinking of you and sending virtual hugs. Hang in there, girlfriend...

Why are cats so obsessed with water? My cat Sammy just sits and waits by the bathroom door at his chance to get into the shower, the sink or any area with water. He won't drink out of his bowl of water. He goes for our dog's bowl instead. I guess that is why we love/hate cats - their independence and defiance! No matter how many times I kick mine off the bed at night, he just continues to come back and snuggle against my feet. You gotta admire that! LOL! :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm so glad you did. I remember seeing your name commenting on the same blogs I am visiting so we were "destined" to meet. You sing, you write and you're fashionable I see! Wow, I hate you! Just kidding.

I'm a follower of you now. So please teach me all the secrets of life. I have much to learn.

Have a great day! ~Mandy

p.s. - please check out the funny cat photo that I used in this blog entry. I love finding funny images online too: http://mandy-lifeafter30.blogspot.com/2009/07/one-of-those-days.html

Mandy, That picture's hilarious!!!! I think we were destined to find each other, too. I'll do my best to teach you the secrets of life. It gets tiring after awhile though, sharing all my wisdom. How were the cookies, btw?;-)

I actually am not a cat person. Gross as it sounds, we had to dissect them in biology (way back in 1975) and I never got over the look of the dead cat. Ugh.

I still had a few over the years but they just kind of skeeve me out.

Julie, My mom had to do that in the early 70's when she was studying for her respiratory therapy degree. She brought the damn thing home and had it on our dining room table WHILE our cat, Tinkerbell sniffed at it. Gag me!!! That childhood trauma didn't make me love cats any less, though. It just gave me another reason to be mad at my mom!!!

Haha the last one sounds like something I would say (only as a joke of course :D). Very funny pictures.

HAHAHAHA! I LOVE those pics! I like the last one best. Sounds just like an inner editor I've seen in the mirror a time or two . . .

FL, I know, that's my favorite one, too! If I were better at graphics I'd have a whole series of cat pics pertaining to writers. Glad it put a smile on your beautiful face.;-)

Braja, Too funny. I love these kitty pics. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I've got six cats...!
