Stevie!

I was going to write an intense post on how to save the world or dolphins or my neighbors down the street from self-destruction due to their immense love of all things Tea Party, but I knew you'd never forgive me if I didn't share pics from the Stevie Nicks concert instead. So...

Enjoy!

(And, don't worry. Next time I'll write about saving the world, dolphins, neighbors, etc.)

Here was the set list:

Karen, You've never seen her? Wow. I've seen her MANY times. I adore her and she literally taught me everything I know about singing. You need to make sure you see her sometime. ;-))

Jemi, This concert was incredible and Stevie is always amazing. I'm lucky because I've seen her so many times over my life.

Tawna, Takes a beyotch to know one! I wish you were there - we would've had more fun than is legal in most of the fifty states.

Debra Lynn Shelton said...

Kelly, She is so healthy again, which is such a relief. And, yes, Landslide is a true classic!

AWESOME! And hey, what's good music for if not saving the world? :D (I'll bet dolphins even like it.)

Robin said...

Music might not save the world, but sometimes it heals our heart and soul. One note at a time.

Blogged about Stevie not long ago. Forgot what I said.

Debra Lynn Shelton said...

Ruthanne, You're right. If anything can save the world, it's music. ;-)

Debra Lynn Shelton said...

Robin, Love how you put that. Beautiful.

Debra Lynn Shelton said...

Dr. G, I'll have to hop on over to your place and see what you wrote. ;-)

Sharon, I wish I was hired as her personal photographer! 3rd row seats were pretty awesome. God, I love her...!

Debra Lynn Shelton said...

Koralee, Her voice and songs are a gift from the cosmos. I'm lucky to have heard her "live" on many occasions.

Well, how cool is that? I love Stevie Nicks.

Excuse my ignorance, but isn't the tea party just a movement against federal bail-outs and other bad economic decisions? I guess I'm not paying enough attention because there is a general anti-tea-party sentiment out there, so I'm wondering what it's really about. Maybe I ought to do some research. I tend to hole up in my desert for long stretches, obviously.

Have a great day!

Jill, Glad you love Stevie, too. RE: Tea Party, theoretically that's what it's about, but in practice it seems to be more about extreme right wing rhetoric and anti-Obama sentiments. IMHO.

Great picks, Schube! Glad you got to see her up close and personal.

Debra Lynn Shelton said...

Angie, Thanks. She is a goddess.

Hi Debra! I was passing through cyberspace and came across your page. Catching my eye was Stevie. Yes, one of my favourite ladies too! I have some old 8mm film of her back in the Compton Terrace days (1970's) and was wondering if there were any collectors out there who might be interested in these rare pieces? I have been backstage to a few Fleetwood Mac concerts, met them all and her brother Christopher and mum Barbara. Appreciate the experiences life has bestowed and would love to share. Love your attitude! Keep it up m'lady. kus kus pamela
